The Sylvia Headband is handmade in Vancouver from 100% silk noil, also known as peace silk.

Silk production generally involves killing silk worms by throwing them into a vat of boiling water. However, silk noil, is made from silk worm casings which are gathered only after the moths have emerged and moved on. Therefore, silk noil is wild harvested and cruelty free.
