Modal is a variation of rayon, which is a high-yield cellulose biodegradable fibre made from sustainably harvested beech trees and bleached with an environmentally friendly method. Modal is extra soft and odour-free because it releases moisture (perspiration) quickly into the air. Therefore, model is better for the environment because it requires less energy from washing than conventional cotton hair accessories.
